Alleviating the loneliness experienced by many seniors is an important step in improving their health and quality of life. Elder Help Peel is committed to ensuring newcomer and diverse communities of seniors receive a sense of belonging, reduced social isolation, shared tasks aligned with their experience, knowledge, and comfort level, and support from their peers in the program, with the opportunity to network with other seniors, make new friends and practice language skills in a supportive setting.
